- Intro to Pole Workshop
Masters in Nursing Education, Masters in Nursing Informatics, Registered Nurse
Manager of computer training program at PIH Health Hospital. Nursing is my main occupation. I have been a registered nurse for 13 years.
I started dancing at Inversion just about 2 ½ years ago. I have no dance or gymnastic background. I have grown tremendously in the years I have been a part of the Inversion family. I have learned that beauty comes from within and finding the confidence to be yourself and interpret every move, spin, and music is based on individuality. Inversion has made me feel sexy, confident, and hold the ability to be me and challenge myself. Inversion asks me to be present with myself and stay true. This is the best physical and mental shape I have been in ever. My favorite part of what I have learned is the ability to dance freely, regardless who is watching, and connect with the music and my internal emotions.
Every time I master a new trick or am presented with a new one that I cannot master, I want to be better, push myself to work harder, and push my body to see how far it can go. I am motivated because I am a lifelong learner and want to continue to better myself. I want to continue to improve upon connecting with the music, my body, and my mind and experimenting with flow and movement in my dance. I feel there is so much more to still learn and that in itself motivates me.
